Travel by Bus or Coach

Most Birmingham buses are operated by National Express West Midlands, and stops are located throughout the city centre.  Check your route to find out the closest stop. Directions from various locations follow; but if unsure of the way when you arrive, ask for directions to Marks & Spencer, which runs the length of Carrs Lane.

  • From Birmingham Coach Station (or the Markets)

From the coach station cross Digbeth dual carriageway, and turn left. From there or from the markets, head towards the silver Selfridges building, and follow the main road round to its right, and up the hill to Moor Street Station.  The Church Centre is opposite the station, to the right of Marks & Spencer's white stone building.
  • From Moor Street Queensway

The Church Centre is  across Queensway from Moor Street Station, and opposite Marks & Spencer on Carrs Lane.
  • From Bull Street

Walk towards (subway towards) McDonalds (slightly down the hill), and follow the road around to the right.  Take the first turning on the left, opposite Boots, into Carrs Lane.  The Church Centre is at the far end on the left.
  • From Corporation Street

After leaving the bus, and facing the same direction as the bus, take any turning on your left.  Head down towards High Street.  At High Street, turn left and go past Marks & Spencer; immediately after that turn right into Carrs Lane.  The Church Centre is at the far end on the left.  (See also From Bull Street above.)
  • From Priory Queensway

Head through the shopping centre.  Turn left at Bull Street, and follow the directions From Bull Street above.
  • From Colmore Row

Cross the road towards Great Western Arcade and turn left.  Turn right which takes you under a building (onto Bull Street).  Keep walking, crossing straight ahead at the junction.  Follow the road round to the right, and opposite Boots turn left into Carrs Lane, with Marks & Spencer on the far side. The Church Centre is at the far end of Carrs Lane, on the left.
