Professor John Hick 1922-2012
Eminent Philosopher of Religion Professor John Hick died on 9th February 2012, aged 90. He was for many years a member at Carrs Lane, although more recently attached to The Society of Friends. He was an important contributor to the long-running series of Carrs Lane Lectures in Radical Christian Faith.

A memorial service for John Hick will take place on Friday May 11th at Carrs Lane Church Centre, at 2pm. There will be reflections on John's life and work, and a Quaker service. John Hick's family are adding tributes and information about the memorial service on his official website, which also has details of his publications.
