The history of Carrs Lane Church goes
back to a Congregational church in 1758,
which became  part of the newly-created
United Reformed Church in 1972.
In 2011 it began a process of union with
the nearby Methodist Central Mission.
It has been influential in Birmingham and
nationally, notably during the pastorates
of John Angell James (1805 - 1859)
and Dr R W Dale (1854 - 1895).

Carrs Lane Chapel, built in 1820, stood
on the green area next to the present
Church Centre which replaced it.

plans, go to About Carrs Lane.
